Follow God’s voice. Listen like sheep listen to their Sheppard and know to follow his way. Don’t listen to the god of this world. Do you listen to God’s voice?
” Isaiah 30:21 KJV And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”
Human beings are very selfish by nature; very egocentric. But we don’t have to stay that way.
Following Jesus is not always easy. We must decide to not live for ourselves and think of others needs before ourselves.
But to what degree to we do this? Yes God wants us to have what we need and be taken care of emotionally, physically and spiritually.
Making selfish choices will result in a lost connection and life with God. We cannot have it both ways. That can be double mindedness. When we don’t put others first or only just think of ourselves. This can be an act of selfishness. When we choose to be selfish in any way we will continue to get frustrated and not make spiritual progress in Gods kingdom.
When Jesus died on a Cross for all our sins that was because he loved us that much so we could be saved and live forever. That was the ultimate act of love and kindness to all. Even when he new he was facing death on a cross he Loved us during that process. We should act in Love all the time. We choose to Love because he first Loved us and we want to follow his commandments.
God can change our hearts and lives when we act with Love.
“Philippians 2:3 KJV Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man his own things, but every man also on the things of others.”
