Thought for today.
I have noticed working in society that people who have anger also need forgiveness and love.
How often are christians first to forgive and share the love of Christ in a world where people don’t know any better yet to get angry and let emotions rule their minds.
Thank you God for those who have learned the fruits of the spirit and practice them. Amen
Proverbs 16:32KJV He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
As we see the beginning stages of fruit being produced from these plants God has helped us nuture it is a great reminder that it, takes time to produce spiritual fruit in the kingdom of God.
When we abide in Him we can bring forth much fruit.
John 15:5 King James Version (KJV)
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Do we know the fruits of the spirit and put them into practice with gifts of the spirit?
We continue learning them as we learn more knowledge in Christ.
These verses Galatians 5:22-23 are the fruits of the spirit.
Galations 5:22 to 23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
I have a mom who has always taught me to be a peacemaker. I believe that is why I am a peacemaker now at almost the age of 40. Both my husband and I are peacemakers.
When you become saved it is natural to be a peacekeeper with learning the fruits of the spirit.
Here is a verse that reminds us what God say’s about peacemakers.
Matthew 5:9 KJV Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
