Thoughts for today.
I noticed that not everyone has patience. As my great grandmother would say, “Patience is a virtue.”. I have been gifted with patience my entire life. It is natural to me to have patience. For some it has to be learned.
Patience is a fruit of the spirit.
Dear God thank you for the gift of patience and help me to be mindful to those who don’t know or haven’t learned patience. Amen
James 1:3 KJV Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Taking steps of faith as we grow in Christ.
Today we walked up tinker Waterfalls and with each step I had faith. For anyone who knows me. I have a fear of heights. Today I took Steps of faith. As I saw my husband Robert reaching the top I was encouraged and made it more than half way up the steps. This is a great accomplishment knowing God hasn’t given me the spirit of fear but of power Love and a sound mind. The goal is to reach the top the next time we go there. I realize that God has given us spiritual gifts and one of them is Faith.

1 John 4:18 KJV “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”
Do we know the fruits of the spirit and put them into practice with gifts of the spirit?
We continue learning them as we learn more knowledge in Christ.
These verses Galatians 5:22-23 are the fruits of the spirit.
Galations 5:22 to 23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
